The New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs of GFWC was founded in 1894 and founded the New Jersey College for Women in 1918 (now Douglass Residential Campus) The NJSFWC , the largest volunteer women's service organization in the state and a member of the General Federation of Womens Clubs, provides opportunities for education, leadership training and community service through participation in local clubs, enabling members to make a difference in the lives of others, one project at a time.

State Fall Conference a Success!

Three hundred and twenty seven Clubwomen, representing 96 clubs attended State Fall Conference at the Imperia on Eastern. What a great turn out!

NJSFWC President Linda Babeuf welcomed all members and guests and presided over the meeting that consisted of a variety of speakers and awards.

The founder of our Special State project, Family Promise Karen Olsen spoke about the program and how the organization's mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

Special guest speaker was Author, Dorothea Benton Frank.

Clubwomen stuffing stockings for Boatsies Boxes

Pictured are Clubwomen from the Woman's Club of the Denville-Rockaway area, who packaged 25 stockings that will be sent to Troops serving in Afghanistan, in time for Christmas!
